Aspergillosis in animals
We routinely discuss fungal infections in humans, especially those due to Aspergillus, but fungal disease is anything but limited to humans. From the fungi which cause skin conditions (such as Tinea capitis) to those which can cause invasive infections (e.g. Candida albicans or Aspergillus fumigatus), they are all found to affect a wide range of animals including cats, dogs, horses and cattle.
